AstroClash was founded in 2014 by a group of Sydney-based gamers who were frustrated by the lack of locally focused gaming coverage. International outlets rarely understood the nuances of the Australian gaming market — the unique server conditions, the distinct community culture, and the growing local esports scene.
What started as a small review blog operating out of a Surry Hills apartment has grown into Australia's most trusted independent gaming platform, with contributors in every major city and a community of over 45,000 registered members.
We cover everything from AAA blockbusters to indie gems, and we organise and sponsor competitive gaming events that give Australian players a genuine pathway into professional esports.
